Made in America!

I did the illustrations for the MenAlive show poster, “Made in America”. MenAlive is the Orange County Gay Men’s Chorus in California. Art Direction by Dean McCleskey & Ray Cruz. Text layout & design by Ray Cruz.

I developed six concepts based on the vintage, ragtime theme of “Made in America”.

They narrowed it down to two they like and I fleshed out those concepts.

Wizard of Oz: Fan Art: The Cyclone

The Cyclone is a piece I did for fun. I thought I’d create one of my “Illustration Animations” out of it.

I love bringing my illustrations to life through motion. I want my audience to have an experience with my art. I call these “Illustration Animations” rather than live drawings since they’re not drawn live. They only appear like time lapse or speed drawings, but they’re actually frame-by-frame animations set to music. For me, art isn’t just about a product. It’s about having an experience.

This is “Fan Art”. I do not sell or own the rights. Artwork, Animation & Editing by Andy Bauer Music from The Wizard of Oz
